Easter 2011

We had another wonderful Easter! We celebrated with the Marcum's the week before and had a fun time. The kids got to hunt easter eggs inside because of the weather and had so much fun! Then we headed up to Cincy Easter weekend. Jill's birthday was actually on Easter this year so we were all home to celebrate her birthday (along with Easter). The weather was quite rainy but Kylie didn't seemed phased by it. Both Kylie and Natalie got spoiled rotten with toys and candy. Easter morning Kylie had a blast finding eggs all over the house and her basket from the Easter bunny. She squealed everytime she spotted a new egg or took something out of her basket. It was so fun to watch! I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful family to share these special moments. Happy Easter!!!!!

Kylie's first Father-Daughter Dance

Wow! I have been terrible about updating. I guess it's a sign of the times in my life. A busy two-year old doesn't allow for much "extra" time! Our house is busy ALL the time! Kylie is so full of energy and there is something new everyday. It's amazing to watch her!

Last night, our friend Jenny and Stevie invited us to a Father-Daughter dance to help raise money for a child abuse organization. So, Kylie and Jeff got dressed up and had a fantastic evening! Watching the dad's leave with their little girls was a little tear-jerking. What a special evening for the Dad's and the girls! It reminded me how lucky Kylie is to have such an involved and loving father in her life. It also made feel thankful for my wonderful, involved dad. I pray that one day Kylie will find her "knight" as wonderful as the two main men in my life. Here are a couple pics of the eveing!

Christmas 2010

Merry Christmas 2010! This Christmas was another wondeful event. Kylie was so much fun to watch this Chrsitmas season. She really got into singing Christmas songs, Christmas tree and decorations, making cookies, and has loved all her new toys. We celebrated with the Marcums on Christmas Eve and then headed up to my family Christmas Eve evening. She loved spedning so much time with her family. In the midst of opening presents Christmas morning, Kylie wondered off to a table where a navity scene was placed and sat there for several minutes. It was a nice reminder / lesson about the true meaning of Christmas. Thanks to everyone for making this Chrismtas special. It is truly a blessing to have such wonderful family and friends.

And last but not least....My brother Brian is engaged to Amanda!!!! We are so excited for them and look forward to wedding in 2011!
