Weekend Visitors

We enjoyed an extra long weekend. The local high school basketball team made it to the area regionals. Our district was out of school on Friday so the kids and parents could go watch the game. I loved having the extra day to spend with my baby girl! Our freinds Katie and Ryan and thier sweetheart Lysee came over Friday for dinner. We enjoyed watching the girls play and can't wait to do it again. On Saturday, Jeff's Mom came over to spend some time with Kylie. We are hoping Sunday to get Kylie outside to enjoy some sunshine. What a great way to spend the first weekend of Spring!

Oh Sweet potatoes!

Kylie turned 5 months on Tuesday. Here are a few updates. She wants to sit up by herself very badly but isn't quite ready. She is still enjoying her exersaucer and has started jumping in it. She reaches for her toys and EVERYTHING goes in her mouth (including her feet!) She is still rolling/wiggling around and gets her legs in the crawl postion. When she figures out how to manuever her arms we are in trouble! We gave her sweet potatoes today and she LOVED them! She has started making "raspberry" sounds and decided to practice this during her first sweet potatoe tasting. It was too funny (and messy!). As always...we are loving everyday with our sweet girl.

Megan and Nora's visit

My good friend Megan and her sweet baby Nora came to visit this past weekend. We got to meet Nora, who is one month older then Kylie. It was so fun to have the two girls together! We enjoyed the 70 degree weather by taking the girls for walks and just hanging out enjoying a taste of spring. It was so sweet watching Kylie and Nora play and check each other out..the start of a beautiful friendship! Thanks for making the trip down Megan! Nora is such a doll.

New fun!

This week we have tried Kylie in her activity seat and she loves it! She thinks she is so big "standing" up. We ran up to Mom and Dad's for a quick visit and she played in the the activty seat grandma had for her too. We think she might be hitting a growth spurt. She is loving her cereal and has really increased how much she is eating. The cheeks are proof she is putting on some weight! I also included a picture of her sucking her beloved thumb!
