Hello Summer time!

Kylie tried out her swimming pool for the first time today and LOVED it! She splashed around in her new pool and babbled the entire time. We are not sure what story she was telling us but she was excited! It was so much fun watching her. Despite having an ear infection and teething, Kylie has been so happy and playful all weekend. We are looking forward to having Monday off too! Happy Memorial Day!

My new swingset!

Kylie had an exciting weekend. My parents came down and spent the entire weekend with us. We had so much fun! We were entertained by watching Kylie crawl/scoot/wiggle her way around all weekend. Boy she's quick when she sees something she wants! Most exciting is that Jeff and my Dad put together the swingset they bought her! We can't wait for all the summer fun we are going to have on it. Kylie says "Thanks Grandma and Grandpa". It was a full but relaxing visit. Kylie was so exhausted by all the fun that she went to sleep on Sunday at 7:15 and didn't wake up until 6:30 the next morning. Playing is hard work! Thanks for a great visit!

My first Mother's Day

Today I celebrated my First Mother's Day. I feel so blessed to having my little Kylie Hope and to finaly relish in the joys of being a Mom. Motherhood has been amazing. The day was perfect. I spent the morning with my beautiful daughter and husband and then my parents, brother and sister came down for the afternoon and dinner. It was nice spending this special day with my Mom. I have been lucky to have such wonderdul maternal women in my life..my Mom and two grandmas..that have infleuncued my life so deeply. Thank you. Kylie also turned 7 months today. Wow. I will try to post a seventh month update later in the week. Happy Mother's Day to all.

Kylie and Bailey

We have always known Bailey was a good dog, but watching him let Kylie roll and crawl all over him confims he is an awesome dog! Kylie is really enjoying her new found freedom of getting just about any where she wants to go. She is not doing a full blown crawl yet, but she is very close. Hope you enjoy the pictures of her and Bailey....the start of a wonderful friendship!
