Walking and eating!

It seems like overnight,literally, Kylie decided that crawling was overrated and it was just time to walk. Up until Saturday morning she was still crawling with some steps here and there. Not anymore. We chased our walking baby all weekend long! I tried to post a video but it would not upload. The other big news of the week is how much she seems to be enjoying her "real" food. Enjoying, meaning playing with it! She is eating it too, but I think she is just as happy to play with it as she is to eat it! I am just amazed how fast they can change overnight. Amazing little miracles, aren't they? Here are a few pics of her enjoying her peaches.

Two of my favorite things...

Kylie's two favorite things right now are Bailey and her bunny. Bailey is and has been her "best friend" for quite some time. But the bunny is a new thing. This weekend she carried her bunny around quite a bit. It was fun to watch her try to play with her other toys while still holding on to bunny's ears. She is really into her play right now. She loves to put things in buckets or boxes and push things around. And have I mentioned yet that she is taking some steps? This weekend she was all over trying out her new found mode of transportation. She is very proud of herself! Enjoy a few new pics of our girl.

Back to work and Festival

What a week. I offically started back to work which made for a tough week all the way around. It's so hard to leave my baby girl after getting to spend every day with her this summer. We had a terrific summer with lots of precious memories that I will always have. She did pretty well at the new sitters...just a new routine to adjust to. She loves watching her friends at Ms. Sherry's and trying to keep up! It's probably harder on me to leave her then it is on her. We will all adjust soon...right? The weekend was busy but fun. We went to Mom and Dad's and took Kylie up to our church festival. It was fun to show her off and visit with people I had not seen in awhile. Kylie even got to try her hand at "Big Six"! I included a slide show with a few pics from the festival, her playing in her box and showing off her climbing skills.

Baby love

On Friday, my freind Kristin babysat our other friend's little boy. She brought Brady over to play and they seemed to get along quite well. Brady wanted to give Kylie lots of kisses and she didn't seem to mind! Are we in trouble or what? The babies seemed to enjoy their playdate!

Kylie and Grandma time

Kylie's sweet Grandma came down Tuesday and Thursday of this week to babysit her while I had to go to trainings at work. Kylie had a wonderful time spending those two days with her. It's sweet how fast she becomes "grandma's girl". Thanks Mom for making both Kylie's and my transition back to work a little bit easier. She is lucky to have such involved and loving grandparents!
