Gymboree Music and Play

Kylie met her friends Madeline and Elyse at Gymboree Music and Play. The girls had a blast climbing, rolling, sliding, and playing with balls and hoops! Kylie was trying her best to keep up with her friends. She loved all of it except the tunnel. She was not so sure about going through it-maybe next time! What a great place to play! Thanks girls!

Day with Aunt Jill

Aunt Jill came down to spend the afternoon with Kylie so Jeff and I could have an afternoon out to celebrate our anniversary. We went and had a massage, ate lunch, and shopped. It was a very fun day! Kylie kept Jill busy and they had a day full of fun too! We think Kylie must have worn Jill out b/c she was asleep on the couch that night 10 minutes into our movie! Thanks Jill for coming down!

Zoo trip

I am little slow to post these pictures but we went back to the zoo last Monday with our friends Ryan, Katie and their little girl Elyse. The girls were so good and LOVED seeing the animals. They were both very intrigued with All the animals. I would have loved to known what Kylie was thinking as she stared so intently at the diferent animals. The weather and company made for a perfect outing to the zoo. By the time we left the zoo the girls were exhausted and ready to leave but we were thrilled they both made it as long as they did. We can't wait to go back again!

Nine-month check-up and some pics

Kylie turned 9 months on the 10th, yes I'm a week late but I was waiting for her check-up! Kylie weighed in at 17 pounds even (10-25th%). She was 27 3/4 inches long (50-75th %)and her head was 17 1/4 (25-50th %). The doctor was pleased with her growth and seemed to think she was doing great! Kylie is pulling up and cruising around but cralwing is still her fastest mode of getting around. She found the stairs and is able to climb up 5-6 stairs (with someone behind her of course). She has also just starting standing up unassisted from a sitting position.She loves to hold something or push something as she cralws. She waves "hi", claps and loves peek-a-boo. She's also into playing chase and have us crawl after her. She loves to "jaber" and right now is into squealing. I posted a few pics. We went to visit my parents for a couple days so they could get their "Kylie fix" before they leave for vacation to England. (Have fun!). The other pics are Kylie discovering the cabinet with tuperware and her in the grass...which she is not a fan of as you can tell by her face! As always we are enjoying everyday with our little sweetheart!

Visting with Wanda & Delbert

Jeff's Aunt and Uncle were in from St. Louis and we were so happy to get to visit with them and introduce Kylie. We enjoyed lunch at Rick and Joey's and spending time with Wanda and Delbert. Kylie enjoyed crawling around and playing with Matt. It was a nice afternoon. Thanks Wanda and Delbert for making the trip to KY and spoiling Kylie with attention!

Play date at the park

Kylie had a very fun play date with her friends Lysee, Madeline and Hunter. She loved watching the kids play! Kylie got to check out a cool log cabin courtesty of my friend Julie who took her inside. What fun the kids had! Thanks Sarah for organizing it!

Happy 4th of July!

We celebrated the 4th of July with the annual Dann golf outing. (forgot to take any pictures!) Even though it rained it was still a fun day with family and friends. Kylie met all kinds of new people and got to play with two babies who were due the same day as she was...Ivan and Linus. It was fun to watch them play! We snapped a couple pictures of Kylie walking behind her push toy. Can you beleive it? We ended the weekend by celebrating Mom's birthday on Sunday. What a weekend! (Don't forgot to cursor down to see my zoo pics!)

Kylie's First Trip to the zoo!

We took Kylie to the Cincinnati zoo on Friday. Kylie's grandma, grandpa and aunt Jill were also able to go with us. Kylie loved it! She took everything in and really seemed to enjoy herself. We had the perfect weather for the zoo. My good friend Kim works at the zoo and was able to give us a behind the scenes tour of the birdhouse. We got to see some penguins up close and hold a baby! It was really cool. Thanks Kim! Kylie lasted several hours before she finaly gave in and passed out on Jill's shoulder as we were leaving the zoo. What a great day!

Fun with Madeline

Kylie had a playdate with Madeline on Wednesday and had so much fun! We missed Lysee and can't wait for her to play again next week. It was too cool to put water in the pool so we mostly played inside. It's so fun to watch the girls play! Thanks Madeline for the bubble maker!
