Kylie Hope is three months!

Kylie is three months old today so we decided to snap some pictures and update you on her development. We were able to capture her smiling! Kylie has had some big changes this month. She is still cooing and has also started to really vary her intonation and play with her voice(sorry it's the speech path in me). She also started grabbing toys and other items more intentionaly. She is becoming so aware of her surroundings. She follows sounds until she locates the voice or noise and appears to watch the dog as he passes by her. She can sit in her bumbo seat but still needs some help with head support. When she is on her belly she can lift her head 90 degrees and is starting to enjoy looking at herself in the mirror. She also loves to suck on her fist with one hand and have the other up by her hair. Other changes this month have been going to the babysitter (since I have gone back to work) and we are working on teaching her to soothe herself to sleep. We are also in the process of moving her into her crib in her own room. Lots of changes when you turn three months! I would also like to wish Jeff a very Happy Birthday this Tuesday..Jan. 13th!
