18 months!

Kylie Hope turned 18 months on 4/10! I sound like a broken record but she is so much fun! She LOVES to climb, run, and talk! Her 18 month well visit went great. She is 32 1/4 inches long and weighed in at 19#5 oz. She is using two -three word phrases consistently and her vocabulary seems to inrease everyday! Temper tantrums have also started! She loves to "sing" and right now her favorite is "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star". She also is into Dora and Boots! We are looking forward to a fun filled summer with our busy toddler!

Easter 2010

Sorry this post is a little late. We had a wonderful Easter! Kylie was so fun this year for Easter egg hunting! She totaly got the concept and loved putting the eggs in her basket. However, after she figured out that there were goodies in the eggs she she was more interested in opening the eggs then hunting them! She was so fun to watch! She is a very busy girl so we were not able to get very many "still" pictures with her in her dress. A sign of the times! Thank you to her grandparents, aunts and uncles for again spoiling her rotten!

Spring is in the air!

It has been a beautiful weekend! Kylie LOVES playing outside! She discovered some blooming flowers and said "touch flowers?" She had so much fun "touching" and "smelling" the flowers. She also entertained herself for quite some time with an empty flower pot! Here are a few pictures of us enjoying some early Spring days (inside and out!)

Grandma Time

Kylie spent Friday day and night with her Grandma. She had so much fun! It was so sweet to watch the bond that the two of them already have together! Grandpa found a book about an elephant and a "Bailey" dog and sent it down with Grandma for Kylie. She loved it! Thanks Grandpa (or as Kylie is starting to call you..."Pop".) Jeff and I got to enjoy a much needed night out while Grandma babysat. Thanks again for coming down Mom. What we would do with you?!!!

Enjoying the weather and her new wagon!

The weather was so nice on Sunday! Jeff put together the wagon Kylie got for Christmas from her Aunt Jaime, Uncle Nick and Uncle Brian and we tried it out! She loved it! Of course Elmo and monkey had to go with us. We are looking forward to many, many more walks in the wagon! Kylie heard the train while we were walking so we stopped and watched it go by! When we finsihed the walk Kylie had to push the wagon too! Fun Day! The last picture is just a shot of her sharing her food with her new frog and Elmo! Thanks to Aunt JIll for coming down this weekend to spend some time with Kylie. She loved it!

Happy Valentine's Day and Newport Aquarium

Happy Valentine's Day! We spent Valentine's Day at the Newport Aquarium. We met Kylie's grandparents there and had a fun day! She preferred to quietly observe everything at first but warmed up as soon we got to the frog room! She loved all the kid-friendly things to do in that part of the Aquarium! It was a great Valentine's Day!

16-months and independent!

Kylie turned 16-months this week. WOW. She is very into feeding herself. This independence sometimes causes quite a mess, but it's part of being a toddler! She used to let me "help" put food on her spoon. Not anymore, she will take the food off and do it herself. I have no idea where she gets this from......heehee.
